UPDATE: Tinkerbella Mae is coming to “Camp Azzore” today for exploratory abdominal surgery and to be spayed. If you are able, any donations towards this surgery would be appreciated.
God bless you all! — Tinkerbella Mae’s Momma
My “Bella” is my fur child who was born on my favorite holiday 7-4-2013 . I do not know what I would do without her. I got her September 4, 2013, the anniversary of the day my grandma died. We got her in Hot Springs, the very town we used to vacation in with my grandma. My mother and I had not been on vacation since my grandma had passed in 1999. We took Bella to all of our favorite places and took pictures of her. It was a memorial tour of the town doing all the things we used to do and felt as though my grandmother was there with us.
Bella has slept in my arms at night since the day we got her. She is such a good little girl: she helps us get the chickens in their pen at night and she has also learned to help with the eggs . One day, while in the chicken pen, she came out with an egg that one of the new chickens had laid outside the chicken house. I was quite impressed, as I had never taught her that; she learned by watching us. Bella loved to play with her Mate Sparkey, and Brother Bandit. They would wrestle and play tug of war, but since she has been sick, she no longer plays, she just lays around the house. She gets chilly really easily so we keep her covered when we see her shiver. It breaks my heart seeing her this sick. I have to shove her pills down her throat because she will not take them any other way and I ask her to forgive me every time. She can hardly keep anything down; she gets sick with just about everything I give her and I have a hard time getting her to eat; her belly is so swollen because of her liver that it looks like she is pregnant. I just want my baby’s life back; she deserves to be free of this sickness. It sickens me that I do not have the money for her surgery (liver shunt), estimated to cost $2900-$3600, as we are on a fixed income.
If you could help in any way, even just to pray, please do, as every little bit helps. God Bless All of You! Thank you! TinkerBella Mae’s Momma / Nanna
