“When my Pom “Sassy” passed away at age 7, I swore I never wanted another pet, as it just hurt too much. But a few months later, I met “Chewie” and I fell in love with him. He only weighed 11oz when I brought him home. He was the silliest puppy! When he was about 6 months old, he started dragging his back legs and it kept getting worse to the point he couldn’t walk at all. One veterinarian suggested putting him to sleep. But there was no way that was going to happen! Dr. Dew believes that the problem is a disc in his neck. The cost of the surgery is expected to be about $3600. Then he will need surgery on his rear knees, as both are luxating, which is expected to cost about $2600. Chewie is just 2 years old. He has a lot of life left to be running around chasing the cats and butterflies. He is the sweetest little furbaby, and everyone that meets him falls in love with him, too!
But I need your help, as I do not have the financial resources to pay for his surgeries. Can you help “Chewie” walk again? Any donation would be appreciated.
