UPDATE: Paid in full! Thank you for your generosity!
Remember this guy? Rosco P. Coal Train is still on the mend following his rectal stricture release. We receive regular updates from his foster mom on his progress. You can read his story below.
Your generosity got him the surgical services he needed. As of today, there is still a small outstanding balance for Rosco’s medical treatment. If you could possibly donate a small amount, or know of someone who can, please click on the donate link below.
Rosco still needs $101 dollars to completely pay for his surgery and recovery supplies.
My name is Rosco P. Coal Train I am 4 years old and am a Boston Terrier. All my life I have been caged I thought that was what life was all about. How would I have known any different. I was a back yard breeder’s possession; an object . I was never touched except to put me in another pen to make puppies. I was never petted, kissed, loved or cared about. I thought my only purpose
was to make puppies so the man could sell them.
But I was so wrong.
One day I heard a lady from Innocent Hearts Animal Rescue talking to my owner and I heard my owner say ok . He told the lady I would bite her fingers if she put them in my pen a
nd also I was mean and would fight other dogs. The lady had talked my owner into surrendering us over to the Rescue. In less than a week everyone had a home but me. I was not well, I was struggling to go poo. The lady took me to a vet. That vet said my problem was constipation and for her to give me an enema. The lady disagreed with the vet and took me to another vet. That vet said I had diarrhea. The lady still knowing something was very wrong took me to a third vet. The exam hurt but the vet found a blockage and sent the lady 100 miles to a specialist.
They did some ex rays and of course another exam that hurt. They wanted more money than the rescue could raise. So again to another vet. I was in the Hospital
for 10 days but the vet could not help me.
Dr. Mizak sent me to Azzore Veterinary Specialists for yet another exam and more x-rays. But, guess what? I had surgery and Dr. Dew was very happy with the results. When I get well I can have a home like everyone else got.
By the way I am the sweetest boy anyone could ask for and I don’t fight. If you could help the nice lady at the rescue pay for my surgery, I would appreciate it and would be more than happy to give you a kiss. You can donate by clicking on the link below.
