Selah is a 2-year old German Shepherd. She was hit by a car going too fast up my in-law’s driveway and was just left for dead in the woods. When we came home and she was no where to be found we knew something bad had happened. We searched for her for hours and finally found her In the woods in shock. We rushed her to the animal hospital where we learned her pelvis was separated from her spine and her hip was torn out of place. We also learned she had tick disease and that had to be treated before any surgery could be done because she was too unstable. So we got her over that and then we couldn’t afford the surgery. We’ve been watching her now for about a year and her hip is really starting to bother her and our vet said surgery needs to be done. We aren’t sure yet what surgery will be recommended for her, a Total Hip Replacement will cost approximately $6,500. A Femoral Head Ostectomy will cost approximately $2,033. Please help us help Selah to have the life she deserves by making a donation toward her surgery expenses, no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
