Sevin, the Tornado Dog

This is Sevin.

She looks scared in this picture.

You probably would be too, if you had been through what she has.

Sevin and her family live in Vilonia, Arkansas.

Sunday night, this happened…Vilonia, AR Tornado Damage

Sevin’s family lost everything… Their home. Their belongings. They escaped with their lives and the clothes on their backs.

Sevin suffered a leg fracture and a luxated hip.

Her family was afraid they would have to put her down. They have so many expenses now. They didn’t see how they could afford to save their dog. But, they reached out for help. And we are reaching out to you.

Help us save Sevin. Sevin, the Vilonia Tornado Dog

Dr. Terry Dew, board certified small animal surgeon with Azzore Veterinary Specialists will donate his time. Can you help us raise the money needed for the surgical supplies and medications? An amputation will cost $1,000. To repair the leg and hip will cost $2,700. This is with the discount.

Sevin and her family have lost so much.┬áNo donation is too small. If you can’t donate, please share her story.

We can’t save them all, but with your help, maybe we can save this one.

UPDATE: You are amazing! In just 11 hours, $2,535 has been raised. Thank you, we are almost there!

UPDATE 04/29/14: Wow! Wow! Wow! You guys are amazing! Sevin’s surgery has been OVER funded, which is great, because we have two more tornado dogs coming in for surgery. We will post pictures and their stories soon. In the meantime, any donations made to this campaign will be used for other tornado dogs and rescue efforts. Thank you so much!
